Holiday Specialist
About the Role
This role is responsible for all aspects of the production of Ambius holiday displays. The position also involves working closely with the sales department to produce marketing or samples of holiday designs to support holiday sales growth.
Key Performance Indicators:
- Foster a culture of a safe work environment and work safely
- Consistent and on-time completion of all holiday production
- Clean and organize holiday storage in the warehouse throughout the year in preparation for the holiday season
Responsibilities
- Adhere to holiday designs production and schedules, including nights and weekends when required
- Follow design instruction and schedule outlined by the holiday supervisor/managers
- Ensure lights are in good working order in all holiday decor
- Decorate trees, garland, wreaths, etc., according to design outline
- Receive inventory and label/organize within the warehouse
- Work in a safe, clean, and organized fashion; moving holiday product, standing for long periods of time, bending, and lifting
- Ensure customer satisfaction
- Comply with all Health and Safety requirements
- Conduct health and safety audits of each employee to ensure work aligns with company safety policies and government regulations
- Ensure written health and safety procedures for each job task are up to date and available, including potential risks in site-specific areas
- Attend required Health & Safety meetings or training sessions
- Ability to work inside and outside the warehouse dependent on business needs
Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience
Skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and follow direction
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong time management skills
Prior experience is not required, but experience in holiday design or equivalent is preferred.
Pay
Hourly base pay range: $17.00 - $25.00. Starting pay may vary based on factors like geographic location, skills, education, and experience. Total earnings may also be affected by overtime, incentives, commissions, performance, and route assignment (where applicable).
