About the role
The Laundry Attendant oversees all laundry operations in the Laundry Department, including washing all linens.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all laundry operations in the department.
- Wash all hotel linens.
Requirements
Education & Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
- Experience in a similar position preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Flexible and long hours may be required.
- Medium work: exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects.
- Ability to stand during entire shift.
Mental Requirements
- Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly.
- Must evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately.
- Must work well in stressful, high-pressure situations.
- Must maintain composure and objectivity under pressure.
