Hoist RepairTechnician

Position Summary

Responsible for the quality and efficiency of inspection, repair and testing of lifting devices and other related equipment.

Requirements

• Job Duties
• Inspect, diagnose and repair lifting and rigging devices
• Provide time estimates for repairs
• Complete service training activities and attend factory sponsored training classes
• Ensure the efficient use of materials and keeping company equipment in good working order
• Complete reports / estimates / labor sheets daily
• Follow established safety protocol’s, report any shop equipment in improper working condition and immediately report safety incidents
• Safeguard company assets and customer data
• Perform required training assigned through the company training portal
• Perform other duties as assigned

Education

• A high school diploma or GED preferred; trade school or military experience a plus

Experience & Skills

• Familiarity with chain and lever hoists preferred
• Requires solid written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent math skills and overall PC literacy (Microsoft Office)
• Must be detail oriented, self-motivated and disciplined with the ability to multi-task
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude
• Must be able to lift and/or pull minimum of 50 lbs
