Hoel House-person or Houseman Heavy Duty/Housekeeping

About the role

The Burks Companies, Inc. (TBC) is seeking a full-time Hotel Houseman. The position involves working in a newly renovated luxury hotel/casino with a supportive team and comprehensive training program. Starting pay is $13.00 per hour, based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Report room discrepancies and maintenance problems to the supervisor
• Respond to hotel guest requests for amenities, towels, etc.
• Perform other services as directed

Qualifications

• At least 21 years old
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and perform cleaning tasks including bending, kneeling, reaching, and standing for an entire shift
• Frequent walking, standing, bending, stooping, reaching, kneeling, and carrying
• Use of hands to operate cleaning equipment and complete cleaning duties
• Visual acuity sufficient to inspect cleanliness of surfaces
• Previous commercial cleaning or hospitality experience is a plus

Requirements

This position requires a positive attitude, self-motivation, and the ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. Must report lost and found items and maintenance issues to the supervisor and follow key control policies.

Pay

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
