HOBE Mill Operator

Responsibilities

• Read and follow written, and verbal work instructions.
• Maintain acceptable productivity rates and accuracy requirements.
• Maintain and adjust machines to ensure quality product.
• Run the expander, belting, and HOBE Mill.
• Work as a team to complete HOBE trimming, expanding, hand routing, bonding, special process work, trimming of product and pre-packing.
• Identify the “L” and the “W” of expanded honeycomb and determine cell count and ribbon direction.
• Ensure inventory accuracy associated with the product group.
• Record transactions in the RF Smart system and maintain accurate inventory levels.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Supervision.

Requirements

• High School diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent, required.
• Minimum of six months experience required, preferably in manufacturing.
• Must have a Forklift Certification or be able to obtain the forklift certification.
• Must be detail oriented and possess good organizational skills.
• Possess good hand dexterity and eye-hand coordination.
• Basic computer skills – WORD, EXCEL, PowerPoint, required.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizen, U.S. national, person lawfully admitted for permanent residence, temporary resident under sections 210(a) or 245(A) of the Immigration and Nationality Act, person admitted in refugee status, or person granted asylum.
