About the role

The Research Training Coordinator develops, implements, conducts, maintains, and coordinates training for multiple research entities, organizations, and other institutions. They contribute to solving complex, high-level issues within multi-disciplinary programs and lead both in-person and online training. They create and evaluate training performance metrics, implement protocol revisions, and prepare project evaluations.

Responsibilities

  • Functions as the Regional Coordinator for the Consortium and the Local Performance Site (LPS) operations of the MidAtlantic AIDS Education and Training Center (MAAETC).
  • Coordinates all aspects of the LPS at the University of Pittsburgh and leads specific consortium activities for the region.
  • Oversees program planning, organization, evaluation, and monitoring of the LPS training and technical assistance activities.
  • Develops, implements, and evaluates all activities, including overseeing program planning, organization, evaluation, and monitoring of the LPS training and technical assistance activities.
  • Supervises other trainers, secretaries, and student workers.
  • Implements and conducts quality assurance of data related to programming.
  • Reports directly to the Principal Investigator/Executive Director.
  • Must be able to walk, stand for long periods of time to conduct training programs, lift training materials for transport to training site locations, and drive a car for up to 8 hours within one day.

Requirements

  • Minimum Education Level Required: Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum Years of Experience Required: 2 years
  • Combination of education and relevant experience will be considered in lieu of education and/or experience requirement.

Qualifications

  • Willingness and ability to travel throughout the region.
  • Ability to lift training materials for transport to training site locations.
  • Ability to drive a car for up to 8 hours within one day.

Skills

  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Experience in coordinating and leading training programs.
  • Ability to develop and implement training protocols.
  • Proficiency in data management and evaluation.

Pay

$44,350 - $51,000 annual

Schedule

Monday - Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Fridays remote.

Work Arrangement

Hybrid: Combination of On-Campus and Remote work as determined by the department.

Hiring Range

$44,350 - $51,000 annual
