About the role

The Hitter’s House Salesclerk will assist customers in locating items, providing product information, and creating a positive shopping experience. Key responsibilities include monitoring inventory, restocking shelves, totaling bills, accepting payments, and maintaining a clean, organized store.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory levels and restock shelves as needed.
• Set up advertising displays and arrange merchandise to promote sales.
• Stamp, mark, or tag prices on merchandise.
• Obtain and exchange merchandise as requested by customers.
• Total price and tax on merchandise purchased to determine bills.
• Accurately handle payments, provide correct change, and professionally wrap or bag merchandise.
• Remove and record cash in the register at the end of each shift.
• Calculate sales discounts to determine final prices.
• Keep records of sales, prepare inventory, and order merchandise as needed.
• Ensure the showroom is clean and organized.

Requirements

• Education: High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience: At least two years of related experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Sports knowledge preferred.
