About the role
The Hitter’s House Salesclerk will assist customers in locating items, providing product information, and creating a positive shopping experience. Key responsibilities include monitoring inventory, restocking shelves, totaling bills, accepting payments, and maintaining a clean and organized store.
Responsibilities
- Maintain inventory levels and restock shelves as needed.
- Set up advertising displays and arrange merchandise to promote sales.
- Stamp, mark, or tag prices on merchandise.
- Obtain and exchange merchandise as requested by customers.
- Total price and tax on merchandise purchased, providing accurate change.
- Handle cash transactions, record amounts, and calculate sales discounts.
- Keep the showroom clean and organized.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- At least two years of related retail experience preferred.
Specific Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required
Sports knowledge preferred.
