Position Overview and Job Duties

The successful candidate will teach four courses per semester (12 credit hours) in the undergraduate curriculum. The majority of the assignment will support the department’s history core and introductory-level surveys, though it may also include the opportunity to teach specialized undergraduate/graduate courses at upper levels.

Qualifications/Experience Required

• An earned Ph.D. in history conferred by a regionally accredited or internationally recognized institution is required.
• Teaching experience in higher education is preferred.
• The successful candidate will possess excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills, along with a commitment to transformative education.
