Histology Technician Extra on Call

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Associate's Degree in Biology or related field is preferred.
• Completion of one college biology class and/or one college chemistry class is required.
• One (1) year of experience as a Histotechnology Trainee or Histology Technologist is required.
• Patience, mechanical ability, functional knowledge of anatomy, chemistry, and physiology is required.
• Experience in enzyme histochemistry and immunoperoxidase stains is required.
• Accuracy, reliability, working well under pressure, ability to finish a task once started, communication skills both oral and written are required.
• Good hand/eye coordination, speed with accuracy, and good mental concentration are preferred.

Pay

$32.03 - $44.83 per hour
