Histology Technician

The Histology Technician is responsible for tissue processing, embedding, sectioning, and staining to support pathological analysis. Key duties include preparing microscopy slides, operating and maintaining histology equipment, and troubleshooting technical issues.Maintaining accurate documentation in compliance with SOPs and regulatory standards.Collaborating with pathologists to ensure timely results and supporting laboratory projects and process improvements. Qualifications And Skills High school diploma or equivalent.2-3 years of histopathology laboratory experience.ASCP certification or similar, with at least 1 year of clinical or research lab experience.Proficiency in histology techniques, staining, and equipment operation.Knowledge of laboratory testing regulations such as CLIA and CAP.Strong troubleshooting skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
