Job Summary
Responsibilities
- Receive, catalogue, and accession incoming tissue specimens while maintaining precise specimen identification.
- Perform tissue preparation, including specimen grossing, fixation/preservation, processing, paraffin embedding, and cryo-embedding.
- Maintain rigorous compliance with cGxP, GDPs, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) across all laboratory logs and databases.
- Operate, maintain, and log standard histology laboratory equipment and workstations.
- Perform block and slide verifications alongside consistent, systematic archive filing.
- Support internal/external audits, R&D projects, clinical studies, and product release testing.
Qualifications
- Quality Control laboratory experience within the Life Sciences or Biotech industry.
- Hands-on proficiency in specimen preparation, fixation, and tissue embedding techniques.
- Demonstrated history of strict Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and cGxP compliance.
- Prominent ability to operate and maintain specialized laboratory equipment accurately.
