Histology Associate

Responsibilities

• Prepare tissue samples for microscopic examination
• Operate and maintain histology laboratory equipment
• Ensure quality control and compliance with laboratory standards
• Aid pathologists with specimen analysis and embedding tissue’s while standing throughout the working hours
• Follow safety protocols and regulatory guidelines

Requirements

• Highschool diploma or GED is required
• 0-5 years of experience
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication abilities
• Knowledge of industry best practices
• Quick learners and self-starters
• Histotechnician or Histotechnologist certification preferred
• Previous lab experience preferred
