Histology Associate

The Role

The Histology Associate will prepare tissue samples for microscopic examination, operate and maintain histology laboratory equipment, ensure quality control and compliance with laboratory standards, assist pathologists with specimen analysis and embedding tissue's while standing throughout the working hours, and follow safety protocols and regulatory guidelines.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication abilities
• Knowledge of industry best practices
• Quick learner and self-starter
• Preferred: Histotechnician or Histotechnologist certification
• Previous lab experience preferred
• Certification in histotechnology preferred

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED

Schedule

1st Shift hours, Mon-Fri from 7:30-4:00pm. OT is available, but not required.
