About the Role

This role is vital to the operations within the restaurant. As a Shift Manager, you will lead the experience, inspire and empower your team, and ensure an outstanding guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Handle and oversee crew schedules
• Provide encouraging leadership for crew and managers to provide an outstanding guest experience
• Supervise and lead food safety and cleanliness measures to meet McDonald’s standards
• Take measures around safety, security, inventory, and profitability
• Cultivate and encourage training, education, and continued learning within the restaurant
• Drive and expect a high level of performance from the team
• Plan for each shift, monitor performance during the shift, and take action to ensure the team is meeting McDonald’s standards
• Communicate with the next Shift Manager to help prepare him/her to run a great shift
• Meet targets during shifts and help assigned Departments meet their goals

Qualifications & Skills

• Strong customer service and support focus
• Ability to communicate effectively and anticipate customer needs
• Ability to provide solutions and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
• Previous leadership experience preferred, ideally within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment
• Positive team player with a flexible schedule
• Passion to work in a fast-paced environment
