About the role

Via is looking for Driver Partners in San Mateo to provide shared rides using an efficient routing system, helping the community get around efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Provide shared rides via the Via platform.
• Use the efficient routing system to optimize trips.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license.
• Age 25 years or older.
• More than 1 year of driving history.
• Personal auto insurance policy.
• Lease and drive a vehicle from a vehicle leasing partner.
• Pass a background check, including criminal and motor vehicle record checks (SSN needed).
• Complete a pre‑engagement drug test.

Schedule

Driver Partners are independent contractors who are self‑employed and can choose when they provide service, with no minimum commitments.
