Description

General Responsibilities: Responsible for curriculum development and delivery of both theoretical and hands-on instruction, including supervision of classroom management, and completion of administrative tasks such as reporting, syllabus creation, and lesson plan development. Oversee student progress, ensuring alignment with course/program learning outcomes. Prepare and maintain up-to-date course syllabi for all courses taught.

• Willingness to work within a flexible teaching schedule and at varied sites including distance learning format if needed.
• Ensure that courses are taught in accordance with established syllabus.
• Ensure all courses adhere to the established syllabus and recommend necessary instructional materials and laboratory/facilities equipment for course effectiveness.

Typical Qualifications

• Minimum Requirements: Associate's degree in a relevant field such as health sciences, biology, or a related area. Previous instructional experience, particularly in health or medical subjects. Applicant must submit current resume and proof of prior instruction.
• Preferred Requirements: Associate's Degree or higher in related area preferred. 5+ years experience instructing Medical Terminology in a virtual or hybrid environments preferred.
