Hiring Occupational Therapist - OT

At SageWest Health Care, we're looking for a compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients regain independence, improve daily function, and enhance their quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with rehabilitation team members to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Provide occupational therapy services to improve function and independence
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and adaptive equipment
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other rehabilitation professionals
• Supervise therapy assistants, students, and support personnel
• Aid in discharge planning and recommend community resources
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation

Requirements

• Completed degree from an Occupational Therapy Program
• Current Occupational Therapy License as required by the state of practice
• National Board Certification for Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) certification required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within time frame specified in facility policy
• One year of experience preferred
