Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and assessments for pediatric patients.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs, goals, and abilities.
  • Implement therapeutic interventions and activities to improve fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care abilities, and overall functional independence.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including physical therapists, speech therapists, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure coordinated care and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Educate and involve parents/caregivers in the therapeutic process, providing guidance and support to promote carryover of skills at home and in other environments.
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory standards, professional ethics, and clinic policies and procedures.
  • Participate in team meetings, continuing education opportunities, and clinic initiatives to enhance clinical skills and contribute to the growth and success of the clinic.

Requirements

  • Master's degree (or higher) in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
  • Experience working with pediatric populations preferred
  • Strong clinical assessment and treatment skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
