Hiring Heavy Equipment Field Technician (Mechanic)

Primary Responsibilities

  • Create, assign, and monitor work orders
  • Track machine service intervals
  • Order parts
  • Diagnose issues using real-time data from hundreds of makes and models
  • Determine root cause and corrective action for each issue
  • Maintain paperwork/electronic documentation of work performed
  • Absorb and deliver equipment & parts
  • Stay updated on OSHA requirements

Schedule

Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with the possibility of overtime pay after 40 hours.

  • High school diploma or trade school certificate preferred
  • Experience in field service, maintenance, and repair preferred
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
  • At least 21 years old to operate company vehicle
  • Physical ability to move, stand, stoop, and bend freely
  • Must be clean-shaven for certain customers' requirements
  • Position is safety-sensitive and requires passing a 10-panel drug screen

Qualifications

  • Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools
  • Extensive knowledge of construction equipment and schematics
  • Superior customer service, teamwork, and verbal/written communication skills
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
  • At least 21 years old to operate company vehicle
  • Physical ability to move, stand, stoop, and bend freely
  • Must be clean-shaven for certain customers' requirements
  • Position is safety-sensitive and requires passing a 10-panel drug screen
