• Sunstates Security is hosting a Hiring Event for Part Time Security Officer position in the San Jose, California.
• Pay rate is $29/hr - paid weekly.
• Meet with Hiring Managers to interview for our open part-time position: Saturday - Sunday 11:00PM -6:00AM in the San Jose, CA area.
• Hiring Event Time & Location: 9:00AM - 12:00PM 3000 El Camino Real Building #4/Office Number 215 Palo Alto, CA 94306

• 40hr Certification CPR certification preferred
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and more than 4 years of driving experience (for driving posts)
• Excellent customer service skills
• Speak English fluently, read and comprehend English, and be able to compose coherent written reports in English.
• Those with law enforcement, military, or security experience encouraged to attend

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by upholding our standards in a friendly, professional, and courteous manner.
• Natural composure and an infectious attitude towards arising issues with the ability to adapt quickly and develop practical solutions with minimal supervision.
• Prepare all required written reports in an ongoing and timely manner, including but not limited to: Daily Activity Reports (DAR’s) and Incident Reports.
• Operating phones, radios, and computer systems such as MAC IOS, Microsoft Office 365, and Google Suite.
• Following site-specific post orders, passing down messages, and being in compliance with employee handbook guidelines at all times.
• Conduct interior and exterior patrols within an office and industrial complex.
• A Security Officer may perform a multitude of duties as specified by the Post Orders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
• The Shift Supervisor must read and become extremely knowledgeable of Post Orders and SOP and will be able to act quickly and efficiently according to such directives.
