Hiring an A.M. Line Cook ($24-$26 hour plus benefits)

Tetherow Resort is seeking an energetic and experienced Morning Line Cook to join our team. Responsibilities

• Prepare quality food for catering and events held at Tetherow Resort.
• Promote and maintain the highest level of food quality and customer service to all guests.
• Ensure the proper food levels are met for daily operation.
• Prepare menu items in accordance with set standards and specifications.
• Maintain clean and sanitary food preparation and storage areas at all times in accordance with state and local sanitation requirements and codes.
• Communicate clearly and develop strong working relationships with back and front of the house staff working banquets/events each day.

Requirements

• Extensive breakfast item experience.
• General food prep knowledge, and an understanding of various dietary needs, cuisines, techniques, and culinary trends.
• Foundation in baking methods, unit conversions, and strong knife skills.
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness and ability to learn with a ‘make it happen’ attitude.
• Early riser who enjoys going above and beyond for your team and guests.
