About the role

Join a dynamic team supporting the (CTII) program at Serco in Chesapeake, Virginia. We are seeking skilled professionals to support the U.S. Navy and its ships.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and assemble various electromechanical and electronic assemblies
• Work closely with the customer and other Serco team members to deliver high-technology solutions
• Apply appropriate safety techniques
• Support shipboard or shipyard experience or a related field
• Obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance
• Gain access to shipyards (NAVSTA & DBIDS)
• Work onsite 5 days a week
• Obtain any required certifications
• Experience in engineering technician, mechanical assembler, or welder
• Attention to safety is critical
• Willingness to travel up to 10% to various work sites

Requirements

• Shipboard or shipyard experience or a related field
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance
• Ability to obtain access to shipyards (NAVSTA & DBIDS)
• Ability to work onsite 5 days a week
• Ability to obtain any required certifications
• Experience in engineering technician, mechanical assembler, or welder
