Responsibilities

• Applies knowledge of medical terminology and nomenclature to accurately analyze and identify documentation needs based on services provided and coding queries and accurately classify clinical documentation for all tests, treatments, procedures, and other services.
• Assigns, edits, and tracks medical record deficiencies by responsible provider into the chart management system accurately and timely to support continuity of patient care, coding, and revenue cycle.
