Job Summary
We are seeking a Health Information/Medical Records Director Interim to join our team. The position offers competitive wages, benefits, and growth opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Initiate, maintain, and file resident records in the facility
- Report to the administrator
- Manage resident records according to applicable regulations, policies, and procedures
- Organize, prioritize, and meet deadlines for record management tasks
- Ensure compliance with medical terminology and nursing/medical practices and procedures
- Resolve conflicts and respect diversity in a supervisory capacity
- Work beyond regular hours, weekends, and holidays as necessary
Requirements
- 2-4 years’ previous experience in medical records
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Supervisory skills to delegate tasks and resolve conflicts
- Knowledge of medical terminology and applicable regulations
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and meet deadlines
- Knowledgeable or certified in ICD coding
- Nice to have: supervisory experience, willingness to work beyond regular hours, weekends, and holidays, and Accredited Records Technician certification

Pay
The salary range for this position is $24.00 per hour. Compensation may vary based on a variety of factors including location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
