- Evaluation of functions and procedures
- Quality assurance for compliance
- Review of medical records
- Request reporting
- Medical record storage and retrieval
- Liaison between staff
- New program planning and implementation
- Monthly/daily reports
- Technical knowledge of Health Information Management
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Some college preferred
- One to three years working in HIM/Medical Records
- Basic computer skills and word processing knowledge
