Responsibilities

Hiking Guide/Outdoor Sports Guide - Canyon Ranch

• Lead hikes, biking and adventure activities in stunning natural settings.
• Engage guests while ensuring their safety and enjoyment on hikes with varying lengths.
• Teach and learn various outdoor adventure programming including climbing, cycling & mountain biking, archery, ropes courses, night vision hikes, naturalist hikes, and more.
• Safely operate a 15-passenger van and other equipment.
• Work shifts starting as early as 5:00 am, 3 days a week, up to 30 hours per week.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of experience in guiding, recreation, sports, or customer service.
• Age 21 or older with a valid state driver's license with no moving violations in the past 3 years.
• Enjoy spending time with people and carrying a conversation easily and engagingly.
• Background, interest, or skills in art, meditation, or astronomy is a plus.
