Highway Engineering Intern

Dewberry is seeking a Highway Engineering Intern for Summer 2027 to join our Mechanicsburg, PA office. Responsibilities

• Assist in all facets of highway engineering including design of horizontal and vertical alignments.
• Design drainage systems, traffic signal systems, and utility relocations.
• Develop maintenance and protection of traffic schemes.
• Prepare right-of-way and contract plans for a variety of project types and clients.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a BS degree in Civil Engineering.
• Experience using AutoCAD or Microstation is a plus.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
