Highway Engineering Intern

Dewberry is seeking a Highway Engineering Intern for Summer 2027 to join our Mechanicsburg, PA office. Responsibilities
- Assist in all facets of highway engineering including design of horizontal and vertical alignments.
- Design drainage systems, traffic signal systems, and utility relocations.
- Develop maintenance and protection of traffic schemes.
- Prepare right-of-way and contract plans for a variety of project types and clients.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a BS degree in Civil Engineering.
- Experience using AutoCAD or Microstation is a plus.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
