About the role

Responsible for leading a team of developers in designing, developing, and maintaining software applications. Oversee project timelines, budgets, and quality assurance processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software applications using modern programming languages and frameworks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other engineers to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Lead code reviews and provide technical guidance to junior developers.
• Ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Participate in the testing and debugging of software applications.
• Document design decisions and code changes for future reference.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of professional software development experience.
• Experience with agile methodologies and version control systems like Git.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and software engineering principles.
• Proficiency in at least one major programming language such as Java, Python, or C#.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Experience with database management systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with continuous integration and deployment tools.
• Understanding of security best practices and experience with secure coding techniques.
