About the role
Responsible for leading a team of developers in designing, developing, and maintaining software applications. Oversee project timelines, budgets, and quality assurance processes.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software applications using modern programming languages and frameworks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other engineers to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
- Lead code reviews and provide technical guidance to junior developers.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Participate in the testing and debugging of software applications.
- Document design decisions and code changes for future reference.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of professional software development experience.
- Experience with agile methodologies and version control systems like Git.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and software engineering principles.
- Proficiency in at least one major programming language such as Java, Python, or C#.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- Experience with database management systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience with continuous integration and deployment tools.
- Understanding of security best practices and experience with secure coding techniques.
