About the role
The High Voltage & Substation Estimator is responsible for estimating costs associated with high voltage and substation projects. This includes analyzing project specifications, preparing detailed cost estimates, and ensuring accuracy and compliance with budget constraints.
Responsibilities
- Analyze project specifications and prepare detailed cost estimates
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with budget constraints
- Collaborate with project teams to provide technical support and guidance
- Review and update cost models as needed
- Prepare reports and presentations to communicate cost estimates and project status
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in construction cost estimation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Experience with project management software such as Primavera P6 is a plus
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license
- Willingness to travel up to 25%
