High Voltage (HV) Electrician) (RTP)

Job Summary

EMCOR Government Services (EGS) is seeking a High Voltage Electrician to provide Facilities Operations Maintenance and support Services to a Government Agency in Research Triangle Park, NC. This position is covered by the CBA for Industrial, Technical and Professional Employees Union, OPEIU Local 4873.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Performs Electrical Services work on high voltage electrical equipment for commercial facilities.
• Performs preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and control systems.
• Supports environmental compliance, safety, and security systems.
• Provides on-demand construction and repair services to ensure uninterrupted facility performance and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• A minimum of five (5) years of experience with 13.8 KV, 480V switchgear, and Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) system.
• Must hold the High Voltage Certification and Cable Splicing Certification (5KV – 35 KV electrical system).
