High School Teacher (Hourly) - Youth In Care

About the role

This teaching position requires 10+ years of experience with secondary students. ELL endorsement is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction for the youth in custody in the group home weekly.
• Experience in working with difficult students or in alternative settings is beneficial.
• Knowledge of de-escalation techniques is a plus.

Requirements

• A positive attitude is a must.
• The candidate must be able to see the best in students despite their present circumstances.

Pay

This is an hourly non-benefited position, 17-19 hours a week.

Schedule

This position involves weekly visits to the group home in West Jordan.
