About the role

Legacy Church seeks a highly motivated individual to join their team and make a significant impact at Legacy Academy, a private, Christ-centered school serving preschool through grade 12 students. With an enrollment experiencing exponential growth due to changes in the public school system, the school is in need of additional educators, particularly in science, math, and middle school subjects.

Responsibilities

• Use your education and imagination to enrich the curriculum and educational experience of your students.
• Construct a plan that meets Legacy Academy's standards and objectives.
• Communicate assignments and objectives to students using clear and precise language.
• Track and assess student progress and communicate this information to students, parents, and administration.
• Evaluate specific student needs and collaborate with colleagues and administration to set standards for an effective and safe learning environment.
• Maintain accurate, complete, and legible records.
• Collaborate with colleagues, students, parents, and administration.
• Engage enthusiastically in school activities and have fun with the students while fostering creativity and imagination.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or higher.
• Ability to meet state and federal requirements, including background check and fingerprinting.
• Current CPR/Basic First Aid card or the ability to obtain one within 30 days of hire.
