High School Special Education Classroom Aide

We’re seeking a compassionate, patient, and dependable Special Education Classroom Aide to support students and teachers at the high school. This part-time position (29 hours per week) involves working closely with students who have a range of learning, behavioral, and physical needs, helping create a safe and inclusive classroom environment.

Responsibilities

• Support individual and small groups of students under the direction of a certified teacher
• Assist with academic tasks, behavior support plans, and daily routines
• Foster a positive and respectful learning atmosphere
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to ensure student success

Requirements

• Experience working with students preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Patience, flexibility, and a team-oriented attitude

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 29 hours per week.
