High School Site Coordinator - Los Angeles

About the role

Arc Experience provides before- and after-school programs throughout Southern California, placing Site Coordinators at schools in their community (or a community of choice). The role is part‑time, non‑exempt, and benefits‑eligible, reporting to the Regional Manager.

Responsibilities

• Welcome staff, kids, and parents to the program at the end of the school day.
• Ensure programs are well‑led and safety is paramount.
• Coach staff and guide their growth.
• Check in with school staff to keep programming in sync.
• Communicate with parents, keeping them updated on programs and their child’s well‑being.
• Develop lesson plans.
• Track attendance and grant requirements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in after‑school programming operations and administrative skills.
• Strong communicator comfortable talking to kids, parents, and teachers; problem solver; team player; good listener.
• Ability to supervise and support staff without constant direction.
• Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of staff.
• Professional attitude, commitment to integrity, confidentiality, and professional discretion.
• Proven ability to solve problems, make decisions, and resolve conflicts.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Docs, and common operating systems.
• Official or unofficial college transcripts confirming 48+ college credit units (60 units for high‑school positions) OR passing an academic proficiency exam.
• Negative TB test (proof required).
• Pass Live Scan background check.
• Current Covid‑19 vaccination.
• CPR and first aid training (or certification within the last 12 months).
• English‑Spanish bilingual speaker highly preferred.
