Responsibilities
- Empower students with academic support aligned to the North Carolina Standard Course of Study.
- Develop customized learning plans that help students understand material, not just memorize it.
- Offer remedial and enrichment opportunities to support or challenge students as needed.
- Collaborate with parents to keep them informed about progress, struggles, and successes.
Requirements
We’re seeking dynamic, compassionate educators who meet at least one of the following criteria:
- Hold a current, valid North Carolina Professional Educator's License issued by the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction (NCDPI).
- Are a qualified teacher in the United States (or in the process of becoming one).
- Are a current teacher candidate pursuing a Bachelor of Education or an approved educator preparation program.
- Have experience as a lecturer or course instructor at an accredited U.S. or Canadian university.
- Are knowledgeable about high school science.
- Are currently located in North Raleigh, Wake Forest, Cary, Apex, Brier Creek, or Leesville.
Benefits
- Competitive rates because your time and skills deserve to be valued.
- Flexible hours—set your own schedule to accommodate your life outside of tutoring.
- Professional development with ongoing learning opportunities and access to a network of supportive colleagues.
- Supportive work environment where collaboration and shared ideas thrive.
- Autonomy to manage your own schedule and student load.
