High School Science Tutor- IN-HOME

About the Role

We are looking for high school science teachers and tutors to provide top-tier, in-home educational support. As part of our team, you’ll empower students with personalized, engaging, and effective learning experiences aligned with the North Carolina Standard Course of Study.

Responsibilities

• Provide academic support tailored to individual student needs.
• Develop customized learning plans that foster deep understanding, not just memorization.
• Offer remedial and enrichment opportunities to support and challenge students.
• Collaborate with parents to communicate progress, challenges, and successes.

Requirements

We’re seeking dynamic, compassionate educators who meet at least one of the following criteria:

• Hold a current, valid North Carolina Professional Educator's License issued by the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction (NCDPI).
• Are a qualified teacher in the United States (or in the process of becoming one).
• Are a current teacher candidate pursuing a Bachelor of Education or an approved educator preparation program.
• Have experience as a lecturer or course instructor at an accredited U.S. or Canadian university.
• Are knowledgeable about high school science.
• Are currently located in North Raleigh, Wake Forest, Cary, Apex, Brier Creek, or Leesville.
