High School Science Teacher
The Science Teacher position is available for the 2026-2027 school year at Mt. Pleasant High School (9-12).
About the role
This position reports to the Building Principal.
Required Qualifications
- Has at least a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college/university with a major in education
- Has a valid Michigan teaching certificate DX~with additional DC/DI/DA endorsement preferred
- Demonstrated experience working with age level of students for position
- Undergone a physical examination, by a licensed physician, that documents capability to perform required duties
- Electronic fingerprint clearance from a criminal history record check
- Knowledge of culturally responsive practices and commitment to an inclusive learning environment
Compensation
According to the negotiated Master Agreement with the Mt. Pleasant Education Association
