High School Principal (Early College) - La Joya ISD

About the role

The High School Principal (Early College) will lead a diverse student body and faculty in creating an environment that fosters academic achievement, personal growth, and community engagement.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the academic program and ensure alignment with district goals
• Develop and implement strategies to improve student outcomes
• Manage the school budget and resource allocation
• Collaborate with other administrators to support the overall educational mission of the district
• Ensure compliance with state and federal education regulations

Requirements

• Masters degree in education or related field
• At least 5 years of administrative experience in secondary education
• Experience with early college programs preferred
• Strong leadership skills and ability to inspire and motivate staff and students
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

• Knowledge of current educational trends and best practices
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Pay

The salary range for this position is $90,000 - $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience.

Schedule

The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.
