High School Paraprofessional-Temporary

Responsibilities

• Assisting in the supervision and instruction of students
• Under the supervision of a certified teacher, working with individual and or/small groups of student
• Monitoring students in a variety of different settings e.g. classroom, playground, cafeteria, library, etc.
• Providing support to the teacher

Requirements

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience: Job related experience is desired.
• Minimum qualifications: Be at least eighteen years of age and hold a high school diploma or its equivalent.

Qualifications

• Must meet the minimum requirement for a paraprofessional (Hold an associate degree or higher from an accredited college or university, have earned 72 quarter credits or 48 semester credits at the 100 level or higher at an accredited college or university or have passed the state paraeducator assessment).

Pay

Salary: $19.25 - $25.27 per hour (depending on experience)

Schedule

• Working days: 5 days per week
• Hours per day: 6.5 hours
• Temporary position: Until October 27, 2026
