High School Math Teacher (Algebra I–College Algebra)

Job Summary

Global Leadership Academy is seeking a qualified High School Math Teacher who is able to teach multiple math levels, including Algebra I through College Algebra. The ideal candidate will support student achievement through rigorous, standards-based instruction and strong mathematical reasoning development.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Teach multiple high school math courses (Algebra I–College Algebra)
• Deliver standards-aligned instruction using Florida math standards
• Develop students’ problem-solving and analytical skills
• Use data to guide instruction and interventions
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs
• Maintain a structured and positive classroom environment
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians
• Collaborate with instructional staff and school leadership

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
• Valid Florida Teaching Certificate in Mathematics (6–12)
• Strong content knowledge in high school math

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of teaching experience
• Experience teaching multiple math levels

Work Schedule

In-person position, Monday through Friday 8-hour shift
