About the role
Riverview Gardens School District seeks a teacher to supervise specific areas within a classroom or program setting. This position reports directly to the building principal.
Responsibilities
- Conduct daily and long-range planning for classroom or program activities.
- Show knowledge of the curriculum and subject matter.
- Use effective teaching techniques, strategies, and skills during lessons.
- Evaluate student progress.
- Manage student behavior.
- Maintain a classroom climate conducive to learning.
- Demonstrate a positive working relationship with the students.
- Communicate student progress and needs to parents.
- Engage in positive interpersonal relationships with members of the school staff.
- Follow policies, regulations, and procedures of the school district.
- Assume responsibilities outside the classroom.
- Demonstrate a commitment to professional growth.
Qualifications
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree.
- A teaching certificate substantiating completion of eligibility requirements in mathematics and secondary education.

Month Salary: District Teacher Salary Schedule
