About the Role

TVHS is searching for a math teacher specializing in Algebra and Statistics for the 2026-2027 school year.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality instruction in mathematics subjects to high school students.
• Plan lessons, diagnose learning needs, and create engaging learning activities.
• Utilize assessments to monitor student progress and communicate with administration and parents.
• Create a classroom environment conducive to optimum learning and personal growth.
• Motivate students to develop skills, attitudes, and knowledge needed to be successful.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Possess an Arizona Department of Education Teaching Certificate.
• Hold an Arizona (IVP) Fingerprint Clearance Card.

Schedule

• 4-day work week (Tuesday - Friday).
• School hours are 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM.
