MISTAFF is a collaborative effort of the Michigan Association of Intermediate School Administrators, Michigan Association of Superintendents & Administrators, Michigan Association of School Boards, Michigan Association of Secondary School Principals, Michigan Elementary and Middle School Principals Association, and Michigan School Public Relations Association.
About the Role
We are seeking dedicated educators to fill various K-12 teaching and administrative positions across Michigan. These roles support alternative certification pathways, helping professionals transition into impactful careers in education.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality instruction aligned with state standards and district curriculum.
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to diverse student needs.
- Assess student progress and provide actionable feedback to support growth.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and administrators to foster a positive learning environment.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practices.
- Adhere to school policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution.
- Eligibility for Michigan alternative certification or willingness to pursue certification.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to equity, inclusion, and student success.
- Experience in education or related fields is preferred but not required for all roles.
