High School Intervention Specialist

Overview

Catapult Learning is hiring a Part‑Time Intervention Specialist to deliver in‑person reading and math intervention to 9–12 students in Houston‑area private schools. The role involves small‑group teaching in reading and math, using evidence‑based curriculum, and supporting student growth.

Responsibilities

• Provide in‑person reading and math instruction to small groups of 9–12 students.
• Use Catapult Learning’s evidence‑based curriculum and lesson plans.
• Customize instruction to meet student needs and skill levels.
• Create a positive, engaging learning environment.
• Track academic progress and maintain accurate records.
• Collaborate with school staff to support student success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (required).
• Active Texas teaching certification (required).
• Experience teaching both reading and math in a K‑12 setting.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
• Commitment to helping all students grow and succeed.

Schedule

Pay

$23.50 – $25.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
