High School Girls Basketball Coach - Winter Season- (SY 26-27)

Requirements prior to the first day of coaching

• NFHS Certification (First Aid, Health and Safety, and Fundamentals of Coaching)
• CPR/First Aid Certification
• Minimum Education Requirements: High School Diploma (Bachelor’s Degree preferred) from an accredited institution
• Previous Related Coaching Experience In The Designated Sport

• Interpersonal skills to cooperate and work effectively with teachers, students, parents, and administrators
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Establish a culture with a high standard of conduct that is consistent with Leadership Public Schools
• Maintain accurate inventory of all equipment and uniforms
• Understand and meet the needs of unique athletes and help athletes to achieve the highest potential
• Establish safety guidelines, team goals, and objectives
• Instill appropriate behavior at camp and team activities
• Incorporate parents and guardians in their students’ performance by developing and maintaining collaborative relationships
• Report any rule violations to administrators
• Perform related duties as assigned
