High School French (I, II, III, IV) Teacher

Primary Tasks & Major Activities

• Plan and carry out effective lessons in French I, II, III, and IV curricula.
• Evaluate student progress towards learning goals.
• Create and maintain a positive and productive classroom learning environment.
• Engage learners through innovative teaching methods.
• Serve as French Club sponsor.
• Communicate with parents regarding student comprehension and progress.
• Support the High School building improvement plan.
• Participate in professional development opportunities.

Education/Skills/Experience Required

• Missouri certification in French 9-12.
• Strong knowledge of Missouri Learning Standards and End-of-Course Examinations.
• Effective instructional strategies.
• Willingness to collaborate with peers.
• Understanding and support for the District's Comprehensive School Improvement Plan.
