About the Program
Earn your Indiana High School Equivalency Diploma (formerly the GED) while working part-time at Cook. Work 28 hours a week and take classes 10 hours a week to prepare for the High School Equivalency Test (HiSET). Upon passing the HiSET and demonstrating success in your part-time role, you will be offered a full-time position in Production, Quality Control, or Packaging.
Responsibilities
- Work approximately 28 hours per week in an assigned position available through the HSE Program.
- Attend approximately seven weeks of prep classes provided by an Adult Education Center.
- Take the HiSET.
What Cook Provides
- Part-time employment during prep classes.
- Pay for hours worked and for attended class time.
- Payment for the HiSET.
- Full-time position offer upon passing the HiSET and demonstrating success in your part-time role.

Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States (Cook does not intend to provide sponsorship for employment visa status, e.g., H-1B or TN status).
