High School Counselor or Social Worker

About the role

As our school is growing, we will be adding SEL Support. We are looking for a School Counselor/Social Worker with strong College and Career Readiness experience and at least 2 years of full-time counseling experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group counseling services to students
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student needs
• Implement and facilitate College and Career Readiness programs
• Assess and address students' social, emotional, and behavioral needs
• Participate in school-wide initiatives to promote student well-being and academic success

Requirements

• Held current certification as a School Social Worker or School Counselor issued by the NJDOE
• At least 2 years of experience working in a similar role (beyond internship)
• Career and College Readiness Experience

Qualifications

• Master's degree in School Counseling or Social Work
• Experience working with diverse student populations
• Knowledge of trauma-informed care and culturally responsive practices
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders
• Proficiency in using technology for data management and student support

Pay

$68,500 - $90,000+ Competitive Raises Year to Year and Paid Summer Training!
