High School Bilingual Mathematics Teacher

About the role

Bilingual Mathematics Teacher responsible for delivering high-school level math instruction in both English and the target language.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver daily lessons aligned with state standards and district curriculum.
• Assess student progress through formative and summative evaluations; provide timely feedback.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners, including English Language Learners.
• Integrate bilingual strategies to ensure content is accessible in both English and the target language.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and support staff to support student achievement.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and behavioral interventions.
• Participate in professional development, faculty meetings, and school-wide initiatives.

Requirements

• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License with a Mathematics endorsement.
• Bilingual (Spanish) endorsement or demonstrated fluency in both English and Spanish.
• Minimum of two years teaching experience at the high-school level preferred.
• Strong classroom-management skills and commitment to culturally responsive teaching.
